Brief History of Clacton Rotaract
Clacton Rotaract was formed in March 1978, Clacton-On-Sea
Rotaract was founded through the combined efforts of Clacton Rotary and Colchester Rotaract. The Clacton-On-Sea Rotaract club
was formally recognised by the district on the 25th September 1978, the date we celebrate our charter year. The rotaract club
of Clacton-On-Sea is one of several clubs based in Essex, which make up district 1240! Other clubs situated in our area include
Chelmsford, Colchester, Brentwood and Southend.
Meeting Time and Place
As a club we meet every Monday at 8pm on the second and fourth week of the month at the Kingscliff
Hotel in Kings Avenue. At each meeting we get input from all members of the club, this includes from Clacton Rotary. Together
we exchange ideas and chat about things that the club is involved with.
Use this link to the AA website route planner for road directions. When on the site click on ROUTES AND TRAFFIC which is down
the left hand side.
